Thoes waste gates are awful far from the turbo, what kind of oil scavange setup are you going to go with?

Distance from the Turbo has no effect on their effectiveness.

i was thinking more than just the filter...if you had no sort of shielding wouldnt the oil in the pan get rather hot?Youre talking a VERY hot turbo on both sides of the pan.

If you look close at the pic it is fake.This was already discussed in the corvette section. I dont know why they even posted it. I guess to get people to send them deposits or something.

definately dont like the turbo's so close to the oil pan.. let alone the starter and oil filter..

Whats fake about it? If you're going to make a statement like that the least you can do is back it up.

You're dead on right, there is significant heat sheilding provided in the C5 twin turbo system.
