"Feel" the difference is subjective. There should be a slight seat of the pants (SOP) feel, but mostly it will be psychological. Long tubes on these engines are a good improvement and you should be able to tell at first (until you get used to it and then the car feels slow again and the wallet comes out for more "go fast" parts)...
It is a vicious never-ending cycle... But damn it is gratifying!

Hmmm...Maybe my SOTP meter doesn't quite register like the rest of you, LOL. But after gaining a DYNO-PROVEN 16rwhp (which wasn't as much as I had hoped for BTW) after the installation of LT's + highflow catted-Y on my stock-internal LS1, I couldn't really tell much (if any) difference throughout the powerband. It sure sounded a lot louder/meaner up top though.
Come to think of it, I've never really felt much of a difference in horsepower/torque gained for mods like intake lids, cat-backs, cutouts, headers, PCM tunes, etc. I've never done any engine work before on any of my 4th gen Z28's, but the only two noticeable mods were a Vig 2800 torque converter on my old LS1 and the recent 3" H-pipe true duals I just recently had installed on my newest LS1. Wow, what a serious gain in low-midrange torque with these duals!

You'll feel it and it will get old. I remember shortly after putting in my cam in and thinking "no way anything is faster than this....", now it's boring.
Now I floor it in 1st gear and it sounds like the damn Jeapordy song is playing in the background. "Uhhh, is it time to shift yet Alex? No? How 'bout now?"
