Did you guys ever polished your SS headers?

If you ever plan on taking your car to any shows, polished stainless headers tend to really help you out with the judges. (It's because everyone knows what a PITA they are to maintain.) If you go to the trouble of polishing them the first time, then as long as you use one of these:
...with a product called "Blue Begone," repeat polishing really isn't that bad. Should take no longer than 20 minutes to get them looking brand new with a cordless drill when you're doing pre-show prep.
If you never plan on taking the car to shows though, it's probably not worth it.

Yes I polished my Kooks to a bright luster! They were beautiful for about 2 days and then they went to ****! Lots of work to get them to look like chrome but for that bief period that looked awesome, not to mention setting in my living room floor lookin all pretty!! Thinking back I wish I would have wrapped them in that heat cloth stuff, I seen a car that had that and it looked very nice. Not sure how it would hold up to daily driving though.

I polished up my QTPs before I put them on. They looked great for about a day (The amount of time it took to put them in) then once I started the car they turned a golden color. I haven't taken the time to repolish them since I haven't put the car into a show lately
