need reccomended fan settings

need reccomended fan settings What is the general consensus on fan settings for a stock thermostat/bolt-on car? I believe it has been said that our motors make the most power at about 210. Turn the fans on at 215 and off about 195? Right now my fans are set as low as HP tuners will go. I want to get this fixed when I do the headers in a week or 2.

98 year model cars are the only year in which the temp. guage works,99+ are dummy guages but will read if the engine starts to overheat why not just do a manual fan switch???

Fans are controlled by the ECM which gets accurate temp info and are not driven by the gauge which is for you to see.
I have mine set at...
Low speed on 180 off 165
High Speed on 185 off 175
I would rather know that my car is running cooler than hotter. It is a proven fact that for every 10* you drop the intake charge you will make 1% more power. I know this is for air intake temps, but I think the cooler the motor the more power it will make as well. The only reason the factory makes these cars run soo hot is for EPA and emmission's. The hotter you make a car run the more complete the burn will be.
