Is the F.A.S.T. 90mm intake worth it?

Is the F.A.S.T. 90mm intake worth it? Ok so I want to upgrade my intake, i have an 00 LS1 which I am told has the LS1 intake as opposed to the LS6. I would like to change this, as well as the throttle body and I read in hot rod mag i believe that you can gain about 30 RWHP from it. But, what i am wondering is, is the f.a.s.t worth it or not? It's like 1100 dollars to get the nick williams 90mm and the fast intake whereas I can pick up an LS6 for like 400 tops and then port my tb? would the gains be nearly the same? or should i just fork out the cash for the f.a.s.t. with the nw tb?

It all depends on what is done to your car. I have heard that under certain scenarios the 90/90 setup can actually cause a power loss, but i believe that was for bolt on cars. If you have a H/C car or a power adder it would show gains over the LS6.
