I don't think autozone's is OBD1 compatable.
I actually know a shop in in Garland that will scan codes for ya but they charge $60 to do it. LMK if you need more info on the place. PS they do good work!

Yea i can't take it to autozone. They cant do OBD1's PLUS the big problem is that its a late 95 and they did some special plug ****. Pretty much a OBD1 with an OBD2 plug but has 16 pins instead of the standard 12 or something like that.
We already tried to use a snap on reader and it wont read. You have to have some kind of special adapter.

Not sure if it helps but if you put a jumper between the A and M slots on the OBD1 connector (i know the OBD2 connector is a 16 pin but the same wires are there), it will output the codes by flashing your "check engine" light. Jump the connector and turn the key on, it should flash once then wait a sec and flash three times (this is letting you know it's running the test) then it will proceed to do that two more tires (three total). After that series is done it will proceed to flash the codes. For instance for code 26 is will flash twice, wait a second then flash 6 times and do that code 3 times...Make sense? I can look up the wiring to check and see which wires you need to jump to be sure and if you find the codes i can tell you what they are.
