I asked the same question not too long ago. I then remembered a little sort of well known shop called Lingenfelter. I called my buddy Tim from Lingenfelter and asked him about there trannys. He let me in on a little secret. Rossler builds all of there trannys. So that's who I dealt with. I mean if they can make the trannys in Lingenfelter's 50K+ twin turbo 427 last then they can do it for me..

If Your speaking of the 4L60E it can be built to take some heavy abuse , But as a note looking around on the net make sure that whomever you use actually tells you what they are putting in there I have torn transmissions apart that were hyped as exstreme performance that were little more than a stock rebuild with a shift kit ,And since the people selling thm said nothing more than its a heavy duty or performance transmission they technically did nothing wrong because in many cases its a matter of opinion ,
So just beware and read whatever claim they make and call them and ask questions , Reputable compaines wont mind taking some time to speak with you ,

Default Free shipping

As some members will confirm that FLT builds a very durable unit. We are currently running a free shipping special on all transmissions and parts. Take a look at the web page and feel free to call me or pm any time you need. Thank you, Vince.

Dart Transmission in Mokena. Since ur from around here. He does all race trans, 5 second funny cars, 6 sec Top Sportsman all the way to tow vehicles. I just walked in from picking up a glide going into a 9 sec '67 Camaro steet/strip car.

He stands up for his work. Plus he sponsors my Pro-Modified and I trust him with all my and my friends trans & rear ends. He has a 8 second SBD so he's one of us.

Call and ask for John, tell him John with the Pro-Mod Lumina (Don't want my name on here, sorry) sent u, and he will give u the truth about time and usual price. Plus he sells N2O and speed parts, I buy all my MSD, fuel, N2O, tires ect from him. Good luck, hope I helped
