Default D-1SC & a shot?

I am having a 408 built next month and was wondering what you guys thought of a D-1SC with some spray? I wouldn't want to go more than 100 shot with it so do ya'll think its safe? Should I put the nozzle at the throttle body or in the intercooler? Thanks

You want to place the nitrous nozzle at the throttle body. I'd start with approx a 50 shot. Bob

Boost basically doubles the nitrous effect, so I agree with Bob, go with 50 to start.

On intercooled setups I've seen more like 1.25-1.5 times the nitrous shot, the only time I've seen double was a long, long time ago when we sprayed a non-IC car running over 20 pounds of boost.

STart small, the nitrous will raise your boost pressure slightly, depending on the hp level of the nitrous. Since nitrous wants to expand and the boost wants to compress you can see what I am talking about.
Old school roots blower B&M 420 on 8psi with a 200shot pegged a 15psi gauge.
It was fun though. lol
