Any V6 guys in here running roots style s/c

It is not possible to run a roots style blower on a fbody, because of the fact that the engine is under the winshield, not adiquate room to mount, unless you want to cut the H*ll out of your cowl..

Theres an LT1 guy on here that did a custom one. Not sure how it would work on an L36 motor though. What year is the car? The grand prix came with the series II s/c engine as an option but I believe they were mounted different in the car. Your best bet is to check out a V6 board and see what theyve done. Have you considered a centrifugal blower?

Doesnt fit, mainly because the m90 supercharger is made for a fwd engine.
Most just use the centrifigul powerdyne, it works pretty good on the 6's.
I think there's one v6 that succesfully made a "roots" blower work, that's about it.

the supercharger off a grand prix or other GM vehicle will not work with a 3.8 in a camaro period. You would be better off buying a powerdyne and calling it a day than trying to get one of those on. The engines are positioned differently in those vehicles that make the supercharger work correctly.
