Default Help Plz!! Intake question

I am swapping my ls1 intake to a ls6 intake. I was noticing this little tube looking thing on the back of the block, on the top, in the center. (hooked to a connector) that was just laying there, I know it broke off the back of the block. I looked in the hanes manual and it showed it sitting there but didn't say what it was called. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is so i can get another one ordered. Thanks Jimmy

Oil pressure sensor. They like to break.

Are they easy to replace? Don't really look like it. Thanks Jimmy

If the intakes still off it's real easy. Just need the special socket.

Yeah that's an oil pressure sending unit/sensor Almost guaranteed to break if you don't know it's there. I just replaced mine last week. Go to any parts store and pick up a oil sensor socket ($15 or so). It's cake to change.
