Default tire width

i gonna get chrome +50 zr-1s. and i want the absolute meanest fattest tire that wont stick out past the fender. im asking this because i see tires with the same numbers but can be up to an inch different in actual size. and these need to be street tires not dr's or slicks.

Goodyear GS-D3's run very wide. Here's a picture of a 275 and a 315.

I use these on a daily driver, Yokohama A032R H-Compound (Track) Tires. P315/35ZR17 rear, and P275/40ZR17 front.

who widened your wheels? that weld looks weird
where did you get those tires? i havent found anywhere online that has them.

to the original poster
i've got the gs-d3's on my widened wheels and as has been posted, theyre pretty damn wide, and wider than most others in the "same" size

i love these tires, but i'm pretty sure i'll be getting the ccw 505a's, and goodyear doesnt make this tire in a 315 for 18's

well if i can i would like to get fat tires on 10.5 z-06 wheelbecause i have now seen that a 285 can be as wide as some 315's. but what 285-295 tire should i use to make it look as large as possible?

not very good pictures. I'm having the car lowered next week. I'll post some pictures after that.

http://www.1010tires.com/ works for me.

I have always heard the GS-D3's are the widest tire made in a 315.

will the gs-d3 285 be ok to run on a 10.5" rim? i know it will fit, but it is as wide as a 315 but i know an actual 315 won't safely fit.

Tire Rack has them (but not sure what sizes they stock/can get). You have to go to the DOT Competition tire section, or if you call, ask for someone who knows about the competition tires.
