Default sensor question

what is the sensor on the back side of the driver side head. it has screw into the head. i seem to have broken it off so all i can see is two metal wires coming out.

no there is a sensor that threads in, 3/4 wrench or bigger takes is out. i think it has some black plastic clip that got broke off when i removed the heads leaving the two hard wires and the metal piece.

The only sensor on either head is the coolant temp sender, and thats on the front of the driver's side head. It threads into the head.
