Default Valve spring ? 241 on 317heads

I am in the hunt for 317 heads for my F/I motor. I have just swiched cams and dumped money into valve springs for my 241 casting. Can I switch my valve springs from my 241 heads to the 317 casting?

I`m reading alot about the heads being identical and the thickness being the same so I am pretty sure my hardened pushrods will not change from the 7.4 just not sure if I can swap the valve springs. From what i have found in my search the 317 will greatly help my flow over the 241 casting and lower my compression. Just really looking for assurance on valve spring swap.

Thanks for any help/ ran searches on 317 springs and 6.0 springs did not yeild any info to help me.

Default

yes, you can

the only difference i can think of between the heads up top is most truck heads use an integral valve seal while the others were two seperate peices, seal and shim. just dont try to combine anything and you will be fine
