Default Fair price to have a clutch installed??

My beuddy needs a clutch installed in his GTO just wondering what a fair price is out there he has gotten several estimates in the 600-650 range.
Is this overpriced? or does this seem like a fair price??

Thanks for the help

seems over priced, most sponsers do a fbody for 400 for a clutch install...i don't see why the gto would cost a lot more. Did they give hima break down on why it costs so much? How many hours of labor..and how much they charge per hour? If he went to a bullshit place that has never done a gto, they make think it takes more time then it should and over charge..as opposed to a sponser on this site who do they frequently and get them done a lot faster.

overpriced. about 400-500 is usually the figure most people shoot for. If you car close to EPP in Fort Wayne Indiana just have them do it.
