Default Blow-by into throttle body?

After I did H/C swap and forged the bottom end I've had oil coming through my PCV hose into my throttle body. Is this a common problem? Is a catch can the only solution?

I have the same problem. I used the LS6 valley cover, a catch can, and a breather. I hope to start the car tonight. Search "catch can", "oil consumption". There are lots of posts on this topic.

I had that too, kind of a milky orangey color on the back side of the TB.
I had the catch can for a little while then I turned it into a "open" system with breathers on each vavle cover and one on the pipe under the intake manifold
but make sure and get you car tune with that on, I did it after a tune and it was sucking unmetered air so my A/F went to 14.3:1. but its all good now
They talk about it on the Nov. issue of GM High Tech on page 50
