Default Different Slave T56?
Is there any difference between a 1995 T56 and a 2001 T56 as far as slave cylinder goes? Are there different GM part numbers?

yes, a big yes the lt1 style is outside the tranny, the ls1 is bolted inside of tranny, i believe.
