Default Coil driver location and Injector driver location?

Quick question:

Mainly would like to know where is the coil drivers located(ie which module). I think i am having problems at high load the spark dropping out. I have High IDC for the injectors but low Hp. Example motron 60 6lb boost 427ci at 87% IDC making 520rwhp it should be 600 on a A4 3800stall, at 9 lb it made 660rwhp.

Tried a search no luck.

And while i am at it where is the injector driver module granted no search done on this yet.

Thanks

Both coil and injector drivers are in the PCM on an LS1 car.

You cannot use corrected rwhp numbers to compare fuel components. If there is is a big positive correction in the summer the car isnt really making that power. If its good weather you are making more power and its corrected down.

Then add big differences in drivetrain losses between big stalled autos with 9" fords and manual trans cars with stock 10 bolt rears and the numbers even get further off. Unlocked you are probbaly down 50-60rwhp.

I made 680rwhp (uncorrected TH400) with 60lb injectors at 97% DC with a solid 65psi of fuel pressure with a centrifugal supercharger. Supercharger eats up about 30-40fwhp also so that skews the results as well. I run my car at 12.5:1 a/f also, if you run yours at 11.5:1 expect to add about another 10% DC..

Thanks for the reply, then i don't think the drivers are bad because its a new PCM and it acts the same as before the pcm was switched.

I also here you on the rwhp numbers the 520 is uncorrected in 107degree heat and 129 intake temps.

That 520 most people would post up as 600 since they would post corrected numbers, see how it all works. Anyone who works with a lot of high output engines talk in terms of flywheel horsepower when discussing fuel systems and injector sizing, way too many variables..
