i hear its a good cam. You can't go wrong with either the X4 or the X3. just get the X3 on a 112 and you will be fine.

I used the X4 with Absolute Speed stage 2 5.7 heads. Car sounded and felt prety fest. Never got it to the track with that combo, so I cant confirm that it performed as well as it sounded/felt. I had a 4400 stall on it that seemed to be just right.

Anyone know the specs of it?

LG seems to have a really good reputation, so I'd say go for it. Although as you already have a cam and are evidently after more I'd make sure you come with something that's quite a jump up else it probably wouldn't be worth it. That may rule out the x3 (no idea on the specs for that either).

Specs on the X3 are 234/242 .600 .610. As for the x4 add 2 more degrees of duration to both the exhaust and intake side and a little more lift. Not sure on the exact lift though.

the X4 doesn't follow the same "recipe" that x2 and x3 follow. So it may actually be bigger or it may not have a split.

I've never heard this and have read pretty much every thread on LS1tech that mentions the G5X4. I've always heard 2 more degrees on intake and exhaust with the small increase in lift (still XE-R lobes) on a 111 LSA.

I can't wait to get mine installed and running!

I have an X4, and have had it cam doctored.

In fairness to LG, I won't say the exact specs...but it is closer to TRex specs than it is to G5X3 specs.

It is 24x/24x on a 111 lsa. 'nuff said.

That is a X3 not an X4. Clark's Z06 was awesome. Sux that he sold it and bought a R6.

I don't think so.

The graph he is referring to is Jim Sharp's 2001 Z06. G5X4, Fast 90, AFR 205s, and LG headers on a forged 346.

Every other X3 graph out there is falling off before 7k...on that graph the hp is still holding pretty strong at 7500 where they shut it down.
There is no mistaking these two cams on a graph.

I was thinking of the Video of the C5 Z06 on www.LGMracing.com. That is Clarks 02.
