MS3 or MS4
Its one or the other for sure.
Someone told me with the ms4 you have to flycut? True?
LS6
N/A and bottle setup.
Leaning towards MS3 because I dont want to flycut and it might be a little tamer for street driving.
But dont want to regret if MS4 is the better cam.

MS3 and MS4 are really different???
I know MS4 uses LSK lobes..
Other than that I need a cam for good mid-range and BIG top end power. Plus need to work well on the bottle.
Please explain how they are SO DIFFERENT?

I truely enjoy my MS4, but it took some tweaking to get it to stop killing O2 sensors with all my other mods. But I can pull a trailer with tires/gear at 1200rpm down the highway with no bucking at all and it works well with a 100hp shot so far

If you have stock unmilled heads both cam will clear fine.
The MS4 is a newer cam designed to better the MS3. So logiaclly speaking why go with the MS3?
Th eMS4 should have better low/mid range over the MS3 but be about equal up top. This is my understanding anyhow.

Oh, and to contribute to the thread a little, you don't have to flycut with either cam. Both cams are supposed to be bad ***, but only the Ms3 is PROVEN to be awesome on the bottle... Not enough people have tested the Ms4 yet. It seems like everyone so far who got good numbers out of it, had also put heads on the car... But I guess I will see for myself as soon as I get it on a dyno.

IMO you would probably like the MS4 better, with the LSK lobes the power is going to come in earlier then the MS3 while still making excellent peak power.

You guys are swaying me to go with the ms4.
But the guy who is installing my cam tells me the ms4 will not clear and I should flycut?
Maybe the p to v clearence is too close in his opinion?
LS6 stock unmilled heads here.
