Fuel filter replacement??
My '01 T/A has hit 6,000 miles and I have never changed the fuel filter. Everything is fine but would you suggest 'preventative maintenance' in replacing the fuel filter?? Not sure if the paper element inside 'decays' or just gets old after 5+ years. No need to clog anything up, or is it just a waste of money with so few miles? I usually burn BP Amoco 93 so the fuel should be no factor. Appreciate all opinions.

that's insane, i thought mine was low at 67k lol
mine is DD tho
and fuel filter replacement honestly takes 10 minutes tops. You'd be surprised how much crap can get in your fuel.

6k miles on an '01 isn't too bad. My '98 has only 13k.
Fuel filter should be changed every 10k miles for best results.

My T/A had almost 100k on it before the fuel filter was ever changed. My DD nissan truck has 155k on it and I just changed the fuel filter for what appears to be the first time last weekend.
