Default what slicks or dr's?

so everything i have is in the signature. i have a 12bolt with 3.73. i have the chance to get some a set of rims and skinnies for my car. was wondering what kind of drag radial to run or could i even run a slick with my strange 12bolt? i was told the novas rear spacing would fit my car there 15in rims so i could run a max tire size of 275/60/15.

anyways any input would be greatly appreciated.

if your gunna race run a slick style tire. i've tried e.t streets, hoosier,e.t drags and they were all good. but,...i then tried the m&h racemaster tire and for me they out hooked all the above. i cut 1.4 60's motor and 1.3 60's on the spray. i have ran the m&h cheeter slick 26X11.5X 16 and cut mid 1.5 60's on them. now i run the same tire just in a 15'' rim. 26x11.5x15 m&h racemaster cheeter slicks www.intercotire.com i run d/r's for a street tire only, not to race on. also.....so many people run the m/t tires....i like being different and when i out hook them, they all come to see what tire i'm running.

i have had them on stock lt1 rims 26x11.5x16 and they got me 1.5 60's on them. don't be afraid to luanch the car......i come out at 6,500rpm's and cut 1.44-1.43 60's on motor. or...you can go to the junk yard and get some old 16'' camaro rims. if you are looking for a every day tire, just get the m/t radials. for racing, there is nothing better then a slick.

if you have a stock rear & clutch just get m/t radials. the slicks will kill the car. luanch as hi-as you can on the dr's. 2,500-3,000 rpm's should get you in the hi-1.8 lo-1.9 60's. goodluck to ya.

well...you have strong stuff. i luanch at 6,500rpm's i use a harlon 2-step dump the clutch and cut 1.42-1.44 60's. with no 2-step just floor it and come out over 6,000rpm's. thats my thought.

With a 6 speed, I'd say run slicks. I like M/T, but go with what works for you.
And dump the bitch. You got a 12 bolt and upgraded clutch....6,000 rpm clutch dumps FTW
