I run a 230/226 reverse spilt .58x lift on each side on a 114
I have had several set ups, but general ballparks are about 600 hp 625 tq at 8 lbs boost (that was twin rear mount running out of injector). Full boost like 4200
On the twin fronts It was a little taller number wise at the same boost. Full boost like 3800.... but often crept up due to system design.
I have a 9" w/ 3:50's and a 4l60... 6 cyl Envoy converter.

We will see some results soon with it.
One is an F-body, 408, powerglide w/TB, Neil Chance converter, t-70 STS.
The other with that cam will be a while. '93 Reg cab Chevy with Twin 60-1's, 4L80, etc..
We did the smaller cam in a Silverado SS, 408, STS. We just have to finish the fmic on it.

hmm...
Well, my motor is getting ripped out now and currently im running a 246/248 613ish/615ish 114. Most likely we would end up going with something smaller, less lump in it, but theoretically it could work...
Can anyone jump in and add why run a split cam instead of a even 230/230 type of cam?

You really should stay out of techincal disscussions (not this thread, but the reverse split vs even split cam debate) unless you know what you are talking about. There was no "test" like you are claiming, unless I never heard about it.....and I think you are trying to refer to my car, which sees spool by about 3500, just like yours did when you had a 6 speed.

other then this thread can you show me anyother technical discutions ive had on ls1tech??
I found my dyno sheet and looking at mine and seeing yours, i make 500hp at 3000rpms.bro i wasnt talking bad about it but we can consider it a test of some what i put a reverse split baby cam in and you put a nice cam in. i was refering to your car but if someone can chime in, And elaborate on this subject of smaller cams ( help spool the turbo faster then a bigger cam) that would be great . pleease also talk about the reverse split helping spool faster.......(if this is true
the fact is a small cam will help spool the charger faster. sean you know i think your car is fast i might add his cam is a nitrious cam with out a reverse split and has a lift upwards of .595 witch is a bit big for a 346 in my opion.....

There is no "proof" that a reverse split is ideal for turbos. There are many threads already out there that cover this debate and many knowledgable members have valid points and have tried different cams in the same car. You have not.
