Question Exhaust Poping

Stand behind car with it running and there is poping sounds coming from the right side of the exhaust. Nothing from the left. Could this be caused by a bad header gasket or should I be looking at something esle?

Thanks.

It's not the wires. I'm still leaning towards header gasket.

you have a Y pipe, the side that the noise is coming from might not have anything to do with the side the 'problem is on'

This is true, but I do know for a fact that the passenger side header gasket is leaking. Got the bolts out last night and it was shot, now comes the joy of getting my big hands in their to start the bolts. and maybe some but I'll get it done.

Even though the plugs have only been in for 3 weeks, I'll check those while I'm at it.

Thanks for the help eveyone.
