Wierd brake light problem
I've got this really annoying brake light problem. When I push the brake pedal only the passenger side brake light comes on. I thought it was just a burned out bulb but I checked them and they're all good. All the lights work just fine when I push a button on my key fob so I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here. I tried searching but it doesn't look like anyone's had this problem before. Am I just overlooking something really simple?

rollinna65, You still may have a burned out brake light bulb. When you push the button on the key fob, the parking lights and the tail lights flash, not the brake light, turn signal side of the bulb.

Similar problem with my trans-am. When i push the brakes with the running lights on the drivers side tail light goes out. i have been searching these forums and common problems seems to be the wiring connections that go through the cruise control/blinker control switch All the lighting wiring runs through this control and is a common problem on f-bods. The fix seems is to purchase and install a new control arm switch.
