I did one a few weeks back for a customer and set the idle screw to idle right at 800rpm on stock tuning. It sounded goood.

Bout time you got it in the car though! sheesh!

Can't wait to see it run. When are you gonna take it out to the track?

Very soon, i'm taking it to RPM for the retune on Friday. Cant wait to get my idle at like 850-900. This 1000rpm idle is killing my lope lol (speedtek tuned it at about a 1000 idle cause they suck ***** and are lazy, and decided to just raise the idle instead of making it run right at a 850 idle lol)

If the tune is dead on, that car will idle at whatever is commanded. Unfortunately RPM doesnt do well with SD tunes to be able to command the idle speed anyone could want. Ask Monica..she can provide more insight with her experience and a close friend of theirs, Jake.

I'm gonna go with a MAF tune i'm not going SD. I've heard pretty much nothing but good things about RPM, but nobody's perfect.

Lol, yep, Mike's right. I'm not even going to go there about RPM, but the LAST thing I will ever do is take a car to be tuned speed density. After trying some stuff and failing, they THEN told Shaun that they were just starting this, and had a lot to figure out. Hence why we bought the program ourselves. We may not be perfect, but Shaun ran a 7.0 last week at Kennedale, so I'd say we're definitely gettin there. There are other issues I have with them, not from my own car, but from about 3 close friends, and one not so close friend. Damn it, I just went there didn't I?

I dont think so, i need to get it tuned before i drive it too much, it's bogging nasty i think i need my timing advanced cause my old cam had 4 degrees of advance ground in and the MS3 has no advance ground in.

I just got mine put in too. Mine was SD tuned, what seems to be the problems that are associated with it?
