Ohm range for the stock fuel sending unit ('00 T/A)
Does anybody know what the ohm range is for the stock fuel sending unit for a '00 T/A? I found the following on Jegs site and that's what prompted me to ask:
Wanted to check if people knew if the T/A LS1 is a 40 ohm empty and 250 ohm full type sending unit.
Thanks!
0-90 ohm senders fit most GM vehicles 1965 to 1997. Will not operate on some 1998 or later vehicles with 40-250 ohm senders.
Thanks!

there is a modification you can do to the sendor so a regular 0-90 ohm gauge will work.
check www.thirdgen.org.

From the instrument section of the 2001 service manual.
40 ohm empty
250 ohm full
But it uses a 5v signal to the sender (not 12v) from the pcm and a ground reference back to the pcm.
