Default RB25 Big Turbo & Nitrous 280Z vs Twin Turbo Viper!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/b...5d016bf0f6.htm

280Z has a RB25 out of a Skyline, Big Kahuna T04R @ 20 PSI, 125 Shot and a TH350 Transmission on MT Radials. The Viper put down just under 800 on pump gas is what I heard. They ran from a 40 roll and the 280Z hurt number 5 cylinder in one of the races.

The 280Z is semi local and I have been trying to get em out for some runs over this way and he should be getting up to run some peoples after he fixes the car. Looks like he has it moving pretty good.

Ya that little ****** moves!! lol. I dont mean to sound like hate but r u sure the viper was all out in that? Cause if he is makin 800 rwhp AND got traction and still lost that bad then that little car must be makin ALOT. And i cant imagine he is makin more then 500 on only 20 psi and then prolly 600ish on that and the nitrous. I guess its cause of the weight. What u figure that thing weighs? Thanks

595 rwhp is what he said, dunno what it weighs but it's an acceleration machine it looks like. Just hits and goes like a ****. Viper looks like it's on 20's, cant be the best way to race lol.

on there local board he said he was on stock wheels and tires.. he said he wasnt prepared for the race(stock tires) but decided to run anyways..the viper was on 4# of boost on pump gas and blew the tires off.. he said he couldnt hook it up from any speed lower than 80 lol.. but they ran twice and they were plannin on runnin on the interstate at a higher roll to get traction and the 280 realized him motor was hurt...just goes to show you can have all the money and all the hp in the world but if your cant drive or hook it.. it doesnt mean shyt

Ha I was there that night. I actually rode over there to mobile there in that viper. Thats my buddy normans car. Its a GTS with a twin turbo hennesy kit on it. He just got it back 2 days before from hefners down in flordia for tuning when that race happen so didn't have time to order any stickies for the back. The car on 10lbs makes 890rwhp. On that race you saw they went from a 50 roll and he just blew the tires up instantly through the gears. And that was the very first race. They went again and he did stab the gas to the floor this time and kept traction somewhat better and it was ALOT closer that race. But they didn't post that one. While the 280z had full out suspension and et's on the back. On the way over to Mobile we were going about 75mphs on the interstate at 4lbs he nailed it and broke the tires loose. He has some of the new Hoosier drag radials on the way for it and we are going to go over there and run again. Should be a way different outcome this time. But you run what you brung so he did lose that night. But that 280z was def a badass car though it makes 595rwhp on 20psi and a 125shot. Norman (viper owner) has a video of of him racing a GSXR 1000 with a fully built motor ect and on 10lbs he was neck and neck with the bike on a 70mph roll on the interstate. Ill see if I can get the vid and post it up.
