got a new bike
Well sort of lol. I got a brand new 2005 Hyosung GT650R for 3995$, $4325.60 out the door with 1 mile on the odometer. The warehouse manager where they were being stored didnt know they were there (4 2005 GT650R's) and called up the guy that is a dealer in my town and asked if he wanted em and he took em. Anyway he got them dirt cheap and only marked them up like 300$ or so and thats why i got it so cheap. The good thing is not a single thing was changed on the 05-07 650R's so i got the exact same thing i would have gotten if i had bought a 07 model.
No pictures yet but heres a few pics of what it looks like ill get some of mine up soon, only difference between these and mine is mine is all black
for mods i am already looking at
1. jets if i cant find a efi conversion,
2. sprockets
3. big bore kit
4. cams
5. exhuast
6. fender eliminator
7. some suspension stuff, steering dampner if needed, etc
8. stainless brake lines and upgrading the brakes

yeah im hoping so lol the only problem is now ill spend my money on my bike instead of my car
high 11sec bike that can corner a hell of a lot better and just about everything else better than my car can, 2500$ in mods to be running maybe high 10s and have a bike suited to take on a road course > 13 sec LT1 that ill have to spend a lot more money on it to get it to do anything even close performance related to what the bike will stock
Thier is a pretty nice bike road course about an hour from here might have to take the bike out there sometime if they have a open track day and see how it does with the mods im planning

so far no problems at all already got 230 miles on the first day i had it lol ..... prolly gonna go out riding here in a little bit .... only thing that bothers me on the brakes is that the front lines is rubber but they already have a aftermarket stainless steel line that i am going to get, that and the fender eliminator are going to be the first mods i get

yeah they sure do they had 2 more at that same price when i bought mine both red here is thier number if you want to give them a call dont know if they will be open tomorrow or not 903-738-6001 ... it will look exactly like this one name of the shop is TCD autos
Some info on the motor its a V-twin .... which translates to not being as fast as a modern inline 4 600cc jap bike but thats not why i got it needed something for the gas mileage and its pretty quick high 11's stock in the 1/4 and i already have about 2500$ in mods planned (still cheaper than a jap 600 bike) that should be good for low 11's maybe a high 10 if im extremely lucky still doing research and make a pretty decent road race starter bike
