? about swapping antennaes from a formy and camaro
My camaro doesn't have the pwr antenna. My wife wants to get rid of the antenna on the camaro so i was thinking of swapping them out. Less weight on the formy(race car). Is this possible if so how difficult.

It's a direct swap.
You'll have to keep the stock rubber bushing thingy that sits between the atenna and the body.
I had to bend the power antenna bracket to mount it, nothing a small pair of pliers won't fix.
Also, you have to drill a hole for the drain tube. (You'll also need some extra tubing to extend tubing on the power atenna.)
I forget the ID of the tubing but it should be in the write-ups.
Then some wiring and you're set.
The hardest part is running the damn signal wire.
So this is very easy mod.
