Anyone have NR white faced gauges?
I searched and searched for a gauge overlay that would fit 97-98 Camaros and found nothing except the Macewens which have terrible service and don't even have the factory style. I finally decided to go with these

The only thing that sucks about these is that they're not a gauge overlay, you have to remove your whole gauge face and replace it with theirs. So its actually a much higher quality deal. Does anyone have these? I have a laptop and scanning software so the only gauges i have to worry about getting correct is the fuel and oil pressure. Anyone have any input on them? I hope to have them installed by the weekend.

I actually have them, they have been on for years. Take your time putting them on, and make sure you put the needles on EXACTLY how they were. These are very high quality, and well made. Just a PITA to install, but worth it. Also, add the T/A bezel at the same time.
Click the link in my sig, there is one shot of them on my page.

yeah i have white faces guages where i had to remove the needles. Just be sure to note the exact spot, with the power switched on, and make sure you get them back on exactly where they were taken off. Otherwise you just have to learn the new position. LOL.
Love the look of mine, they light up blue at night.

Thanks Teri it seems that even though these aren't an overlay they still light up funny around the needle just like all white face gauges. They also look kind of like a blueish green tint too. I sure hope they don't come with NR on them on the tach though. I called and friggin asked the lady at NR and she said it had NR on them but not in a visible spot. So hopefully the 97-98 Camaro one is different. Now i just need to get a TA Bezel but i need to find a place beside Macewen to get one.

Mine are 97-98 Guage overlays (Reverse EL). I didn't realize they were not for 99's until I got them home. No biggie, I just lost the High beam and oil change indicators.
Terri got me the bezel. These have been in for about 3 years now at least.

turn the car on and note the position of all the stuff. note RPM, voltage at idle, where the speedo sits, oil pressure, fuel, and temp when its warmed up.
do your thing
then put em back on once the car is warmed up again

Well i got the gauge face and finally got around to installing it. The procedure was kind of a pain but they're well worth it. They look great and light up nicely. They were even cheaper than most overlays, and the quality is second to none. My buddy with his Macewens was drooling over my new NR guages. Setting the needles was a little tough.
I just let the car get cold and i started it up and made a diagram of where all the needles needed to be. Then when i got done installing the new face i started the car and put the needles in the correct place. I also have a laptop so i actually "calibrated" my tach and my speedo as they were off a few mph from the factory.
