Thumbs up Lonestar Motorsports Park

Well just wanted to give props to Hennessey and his crew at Lonestar. We have raced at 1/2 of the tracks around the country from Maple Grove in PA to Milan in Michigan. The track prep was awesome. We had our best 60ft ever with a 1.38. We did run a 10.192 with not so good air but we will certainly be going back out to Lonestar.

Thanks,
Amber

Joe and Amber, it was great watching your beast pull the tires 3 ft. off the ground! Glad you enjoyed the track and hope to see yall again soon.

Hey Joe!
Yeah...I ran my best ET too....9.41!

It was good to see you and Amber out there! You're car was damn near on the bumper!!!

The track definitely had the "hook" in it!

Also good to see some of the "old school" out there! Dirty Bird, Black Widow, Mike Pabon....SC300 - you're 240 rolls out!!!

Even saw a special guest apperance of Mike Murillo!

Hope everyone else had as great of a time as I did....

HPD guys were awesome too...props for being a bunch of nice guys...

Good weather, great racing, a lots of friends - don't get better than that!

Definitely had a great time today and we couldn't have asked for better weather for this event. Saw some awesome times and it seemed like the cars were running faster and faster as the day went on.

A+ on the snack bar too...I think I tried one of everything on the menu! LOL

Thanks again to Garrett and John for putting together an excellent event!!

That was definately one of the best events that I have been to thus far! I've never seen so many Z06's, Lightnings, and Supras in one place at the same time. Plus 2 GT2 Porshes, 2 Vipers, 3-4 SRT8 Magnums! And Joe and Amber's car was incredible! That thing was hooking and moving quick! Good job guys! And thanks to John for the great track Hospitality. Let's do it again!

Friday nite about 8:30 pm a stock C6 cracked its rear diff and laid down gear oil from the starting line past the 1/4 mile. It took 2.5 hours to clean up. Nobody was happy about it, me included, but that is how long it took to get the track ready to run cars again. We are working hard on quicker methods of cleaning up the track when fluids go down.

That's part of racing John! Stuff happens all the time. There is nothing you can do about it. Did the driver realize that he was spilling fluids? If so he should have pulled over quickly to prevent a monsterous cleanup.
