Default Stand-alone wiring harness alternative?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LS1-E...spagenameZWD1V

Saw this and wondered if anyone has tried this, or something like it? It seems like an affordable option to put together a stand-alone harness yourself without needing to totally build it from scratch. Obviously you would need to remove any unneeded plugs yourself (or leave them in, secured I suppose) and have the PCM flashed to remove the VATS (or build a bypass module or whatever).

Anyone have any thoughts?

There are a cuople of different options on Ebay. Some more generic than others. I saw one that looks pretty nice and compact that has to be spliced in.
I would think if you feel you have the capabilities to make it work, and save some money in the process, it certainly is a cheap alternative.

I just bought one of those, and it should be here at the end of this week or the beginning of ext week. I will post back when I get it and what I think of it. The guy makes them after you place your order though, so dont expect it for a few weeks after you order. However, from his feedback apparently he builds good stuff.

When I get one I will post a thread about it with a really good description of it and what I think of it. I am at the end of week two waiting for it so it may be a while.
