Default question for people running x pipe w/sweet thunders

i finally got my headers in and now im trying to hang the exhaust... well i got everything setup and clamped but my sweet thunders are quite long mufflers and when i try to hang them there is no spot for them to bolt up to, so how did all you guys with this muffler hang them, i was thinking to cut about 5 inches off of the x pipe so i can mount it to the back of the floor board but before i cut anything i wanted to ask all of you. I would like to get my car back on the road ive been runnin into problems since friday between the headers and exhaust and now i have to drive a geo metro to work tomorrow..so im not to excited about that. Thanks in advance

Well I dont have STs but typicall I see them mounted to where the rear seats are. Are they too long even for THAT?

If you have TSP's duals w/ Sweet Thunders, like I do, you could just do what I did....put a little jack under each muffler and use it to lift them up high enough so you can bolt them to the bottom of the rear seats...I had to bend the mounting "arms" to angle them out a bit (personal preference) and mainly to make it so they angle towards the seats...

Should work for you...

Enjoy the sweet thunder...

i have the TSP setup. the hangers are bolted to the back of the bottom of the rear seats. there is no mount. had to drill hoels and mount it. make sure u have ur axle lifted up at ride level and not hangin. otherwise ur clearance will be absolute ****
