lt1 shakes at high rpms????why?

lt1 shakes at high rpms????why? i have a 97 ws6 manual ..car is very rough but obviously this aint no lexus or benz...
my concern is that whenever im in 1st gear and get above 3,000 rpm.. the car shakes like crazy.. why?
if im standing in neutral and rev it ..again in high rpms past 3 it shakes real bad.... why does it do that ..what will clear it up?
if u keep ur hand on the shifter and stay at high rpms in first gear.. then within seconds u wont be able to feel ur hand.. why does it shake so bad.. i know this aint normal
