Anyone Recognize This Intake?

I think it is an LT1 intake, due to its shape and where that pinch is to clear the radiator and that brake "thingy". But I would say it looks more like a K&N unit, since k&n uses a round port on the filter side, and moroso uses that ellipse shape on the filter side.
OR it could just be a old moroso rev.

It does kinda look like a K&N, but it doesn't say K&N on the front. (1st pic in 1st post is front, 2nd pic in 1st post is rear). My K&N (at http://www.akmcables.com/Engine.jpg ) has an obvious K&N on it. Unless they changed their design, I bought mine back in '98 or so.
It's not a Moroso either. I don't know whose it is.

It is abosolutely not a Moroso.
I was made a long time ago by a company called MTI and yes I had one. This intake is different in shape than the Moroso, look at the elbow closely as well as the center line cause this one has a huge raised seam where the plastic halves are joined together. It also has a round hole and not an oval hole at the filter attach point.
At the time this was a really good buy at around $125.00 with the very large K&N air filter. The biggest problem with this intake is the hard plastic, it was very brittle and mine cracked big time down around where it slips into the filter plus I could not get the filter to stay on it. I have not seen this on the market for at least five years. It was advertised a lot in GM high tech performance magazine.
There is no doubt this is a MTI or a clone CAI and I would not reccomend it because of the reasons stated above. The Moroso is a far superior product.
