Valve spring tool
What kind have ya'll been using on a in car valve spring swap? One that is easy to use and works fast?
Well I screwed up and dropped $93.00 for the gaskets at the chevy dealer today, I should have ordered a set from one of the sponsors and saved some money. Oh yeah, and I still can't get over how big this balancer bolt is for an LS1, is the crank really threaded that deep? Damn that's a big *** bolt!! I should be ready to install the new cam by next weekend since it's a holiday weekend, hopefully my cam will be here by then.

Thanks, I just ordered the More tool from Thunder Racing. I liked that crane tool though, doing two at once would make the process alot easier. Well, next weekend my car should have a nice cam in there. I ordered the Patriot valve spring kit just now too, I think I've spent a little over $600.00 for everything including the gaskets and special tools so it wasn't too bad. Guess I'll be paying on this for a while, thanks for the help guys!!

I know this won't help now but "tims tool" is probably the best $30 I've ever spent on a specialty car tool. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ve+spring+tool
