Alright guys what kind of HP difference between the two and how would these do on the street.

well the 228 is on a more agressive lobe so it will be very,very close to the same tq but i'd say the 228 will pull on top another 15 hp or so. get it on a 112 + 2 for alittle more dcr and that will bump the tq up alittle also.another cam to look at is something like a 228/232 on xer lobes on a 110 +1 or +2. it will make big power under the curve and peak pretty early still.hit up patrick g "a cam genius on here" and see what he suggests.

I had the TR224 on a 114 and all the bolt ons. It made 370 RWHP.
I changed to the 228R on 114 with AFR 205s milled 20 off. I havent had it dynos, but talking with TSP and they said expect 8-10 RWHP between the TR224 and the TSP228R. I should be at about 420 RWHP. I didnt want more than that. But it did feel like I lost some bottom end with the 228R and the heads.
I just added 3:90 gears, and I really enjoy the combo.
I either should not have changed cams, but got the 228R on a 112.
