Yes, the radio bezel is custom and painted too, thought that would have been a given, but to the doubters, here you go:
Excuse the dust, I just got done installing a new window motor and the fiberglass dust flew all over the inside of the car
ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, I don't think I've posted this in 100's of threads, but when someone asks to see custom center consoles or painted interiors, YES, I do post my work just like others always post pics of their custom exterior paint or polish work or whatever. I'm not a pic *****, but I put a lot of work into my projects and do them right and hopefully give others lots of ideas not to mention probably $1000's in free advice.

Very nice. Did you use epoxy resin to get it to stick to the plastic or polyester resin? Also, was anything put in behind the fiberglass cloth where the gauge is as a backer or was the cloth just stretched tight? I've been thinking about modifying my console by laying cloth over the gauge area to make it follow the curved contour of the outer edges, if that makes sense.

You can reproduce the textured finish with SEM texture paint and a satin clearcoat. It will take some experimentation in terms of how far to hold the can from the piece, but you can do that on a scrap of ABS.
