TSP 228R or TSP Torquer V2
what would be better for a strictly street application in an a4 with a TCI streetfighter converter and 2.73's (may upgrade to 3.73 if needed). I know its all in the tune for no surging or bucking at low RPMS but what cam will less likely do that and can run on a stock tune for maybe a month till i can get a tune? IS the V2 too big for a everyday driver in an A4?

with stock compression the 228 should be a pretty strong performer. the t2 has 4 * more duration on the intake side and 6* on exhaust so your bottom and midrange will be probably around 10 ftlbs or so lower than the 228 but will gain about the same up top .i had a 228 so that is what i say run,it was a great all around cam but alot of people put cams bigger than the t2 in stock bottom ends and love them so opinions vary.

i DD my torquer 2 for about 3 weeks untuned, was rough yeah but also had a 3500 stall in it untuned as well. after a good tune, no surging or anything whatsoever, even on a 98 lol. but yeah i say torquer 2, great idle for a 113 LSA with magnaflow
