Seats going flat? Something to check.
I had at one time a pair of T/A seats in my Camaro. Had to
pull them on account of the GF's fussy back. But I noticed
my driver's seat seemed to have poor cushioning and was
sagging in the center.
I picked up a junkyard Firebird seat the other day for the
power track and in taking it out, noticed that all of the
support wires were mighty thin and had basically sawn deep
into the foam bun. I think this is inherent to the design, and
prone to ruin the cushioning over time.
If your seats aren't what they used to be, for support, this
may be going on. A piece of thin carpet pad or something
to make a cut-resistant layer between the wires and the
bun might restore your seat feel to near new.
