I am thinking about buying a 5.3 engine and trans combo to put in my 99 camaro so that I can put my built motor into my dedicated race car. My question is can I just get a camaro tailshaft so that my torque arm will bolt up or is this a totally different trans. Also will all of the wiring plug in. Thanks

Well you can change out the tail housing , and the electronics should be compatable though you didnt mention what year the 5.3 combo is
