keep in mind it is also very easy to damage. My car is only an inch lowered and I managed to damage my front lip on a curb. I like that I can take it off and have them re-paint it for cheap a opposed to doing part of the car as well. It would probably look awesome though.

Yeah just don't do it.
I mean if you drive your car frequently something is going to just barely touch that lip piece and it is going to completely ruin bother the front spoiler's paint and then the entire front bumper's as well.
Whereas if you just leave them seperate if you scrape or someone bumps it then you just redo the lip spoiler
I mean the front bumper is uber flexible, you can make the paint spider web just by moveing it around a bunch.
