im slowly understandin cams and stuff guys. someone please explain to me "rod bolts and fly cutting".... i understand cam specs... but what does the +4 after the LSA mean? sorry to rob the thread

It isn't the lift that determines the "flycut". It is valve events in general. Intake/exhaust duration and lift + lobe separation. You know that is a whole different animal going solid. Valve adjustments will be critical periodically. I hope you arent planning on DD'ing this cam.

Your cam is showing to have a 109* LSA with 4* of advance ground into it, giving you your intake centerline of 105*. You can also figure your exh centerline from this info, which is 113*. This is how the cam companies reference things to make it faster for them when they go to grind a cam.
