Default Stall

I've been looking at stall converters and i'm wondering what would be the best that is around $400? I'm wanting to get one that stalls around 3200. i've been waiting to install my cc503 cam.

I think retail for my Fuddle 3200 was $450-475 shipped, you will never get a direct answer to your question, some say Yank, some say PI, all depends who you ask.

Now the true best if you don't have a budget is Neil Chance and his good ones are a little over 2k and he does not build them for the 4L60's. I think most will agree to that.

Ive seen PI and Yank on the higher side, for your range, you could try pro torque, or fuddle

You might consider buying a used one that has been refreshed. Just a thought. I paid around $450 shipped for my Fuddle, but the company has had issues.

I know you guys talk about Yank being on the higher end, but I have had my Yank 3500 for 5 years now. Made 300-400 trips down the strip and have rebuilt the tranny 3 times since the converter install. Still no problems and still stalls to 3400 on foot brake with no pushing of the car. Its time to rebuild the tranny again so the converter is going back to Yank to be gone through. Can not complain. You get what you pay for!!!

I like Edge, IMO you get Yank quality internal work without the billet cover pricetag of the Yank. The 9.5" Edge is about $525.
