Default electric fans

The fan closest to the driver on my o2 z28 sometimes makes a noise of rubbing style or wobbling when it gets really hot out or if the AC is on. I think that the sealed bering has gone out and I want to replace it. My question is, if there is any modification to the cooling fans or upgrades that I should do while the damn thing is apart. I do plan on going to the track, and more modifications in the future, but right now she is stock with cat back and free mods. In put is appreciated.

you can get aftermarket fans, but the biggest thing people usually do is get a lower temp stat and program the fans to come on earlier

You can get aftermarket fans (Spal, Be-Cool) but also can
find junkyard ones all over eBay. Setting them to run at the
thermostat temp is a must-do IMO. But I'm moving up in
both radiator capacity and fan because neither one really
cuts it in the summertime down here.
