Crane 99893 springs were the matched springs from Crane Technical for running 1.7 rollers so they were just fine with 1.6 rollers as well. I don't remember the length I used for my pushrods but I want to say they were the same stock length for our LT1s just Comp cromemoly, believe that's what Crane Tech spec'd me out for as well. This was 3 yrs ago, running different setup now but I'd recommend calling Crane since it's their cam anyway.

With stock heads and block, you can still use the stock length pushrods with no problem. I might have some Comp hardened pushrods for sale soon if you're interested.

I don't know about those rockers. I've heard they aren't good on higher lift cams and the GM847 is much harder on the valvetrain than the hotcam is. Do a search to find out. I just got Comp Pro Mags to make sure I never had to worry about them.

I have heard that using the RR's from the hotcam kit are fine and you shouldn't have to change pushrod length unless you have had the deck of your block shaved down or your heads milled, then you would need to go shorter. Lucky for me I have a 95 and my car came with hardened pushrods I am gonna be running the LT4 hotcam 1.6rr's, beehive springs, and my stock length pushrods with the GM847 next month. I'll let you now how it works out.

didn't hear any of you mention the lifters, I'd recommend something better than stock with this cam, not sure if Comp fixed their junk CompR's yet but Crane and Crower make an 847 cam spec'd hyd lifter.

I'm using CC918's and Comp pushrods on my 847. If your rockers are SA then you need to go with the 918's do the will clear. Theres not many springs that will hold likw them and still clear the sides of a SA tip. I'm using new stock pump and stock injectors too. No need for that other crap unless you got a crap tune or big spray.

I'm just repeating what i've heard from the man. Ed Wright Makes 513/580 raw rw in his LT1 on a stock pump and the A/F is perfect. He Told me to replace the stock pump when it starts to go with a new stock pump and i'm using stock 24#'s on my 355. Just tryin to save you some money. Do what you want
