Default EGR...what to do

im installing headers soon, i know everyone will tell me to just ditch the egr but id rather keep it as visual inspections by me are a bitch, im install 98-99 style headers on a 2000 so my question is what do you guys think i shoud do, in my mind i have 3 options, easiest would be to swap out the egr and air tubes for 98-99 style tubes but i dont know if this is possible, if anyone knows id love to find out, second would be to cut and re-weld the connections on the headers which wouldnt be bad as i just got mu new welder, third would be to try to bend the current tubes to fit the headers, any input would be great, thanks, Paul

You could post in the parts wanted section. I'm sure someone has a set of EGR/AIR tubes for that year and they'd send them to you.

People HAVE swapped the AIR tubes and what not to make it work. EGR might be in the same position, but I'm not sure.

get the right headers for your year....plug the header, and leave the egr as a "fake"....as in leave it bolted up, unplugged and just cut it to where the top goes into the intake but not down in it....understand?
