Default problems

i just took my car out after 1 1/2 years and theres something wrong. to start when you give 50% throttle the rear end clunks. and then at full throttle the tranny will bounce off the rev limiter unless you back off the gas. and then there's a missfire #8. what should i do or whats wrong. any help would be great.

The rear end clunking sounds normal, bouncing off the rev limiter does not
seem right unless it's not in d or od .Misfire could be a plug wire.

o.k so it turns out all the plugs were bad and a coil had gone bad as well. the camshaft sensor also went bad. and there is a hole some where in the evap. the tranny problem has yet to be looked at. i was thinking a clogged valve body or something. it had a code for slipping tranny. ???? any ideas. thanks
