Mac shorties Has anyone running Mac shorties experienced no power gain?I have been told by more than a few local modders that they didnt feel any gains with there shorties.

around here they say about 10hp..as opposed to 20-30 with LT's. It's all about scavenging the exhaust out of the system, and there just is not enough pipe involved in MIDS to do the job fully.

any header is better than the stock manifolds. I ran the mac mids for a while I only saw about 13rwhp with them before I upraded to LT's which showen 23rwhp gain... like said be for its all about scavanging(spelling). I actully mad more N/A hp with my mids and cat back than I do with my LT's and 3in duals with an X. But my nitrous gain with the new exhaust is well above what it was with the mids
