Newest Free mod: Key relocation
As I had it stock, the keyless remote on my keychain is positioned in such a way that the normal vibrations from driving will cause it to bang against the dash as is illustrated in figure one
Figure 1
Using a small knife, or your fingernail, split open the ring and remove the keyless entry remote from its stock location. Notice here the orientation of the remote in stock location relative to the ignition key.
Figure 2
Next, Move the ignition key along the ring to the opposite side (ie. if u have the key opening facing up and the ignition key is away from you, move it across the openning putting it toward you. Using that same knife or fingernail, re-install the remote control onto the ring. Once installed the orientation of the remote and ignition key should be opposite from before. Note here in figure 3 and 2 that there is a hex nut that can be used for reference. the ignition key and remote have changed places on the chain, but the rest of the aparatus has remained uneffected.
Figure 3
Finally, when using the key, the remote is now on the outside, away from the dash, so any annoying clicking during driving has stopped.
Figure 4
yeah... not a real tech thread.... but i tried to make it look official enough to keep the mods from getting mad at me . A for effort?

Interesting, and im sorry to hi-jack your thread beforehand, but maybe this will help you out too!
On my 01 WS6 the passenger seatbelt (or is it the "plastic thingy" on the seatbelt...?) rattles horridly over minor highway imperfections. The car sounds SOLID except for this and its annoying as hell. Anyone have a fix/idea?

Since you'll be bringing your own parts, they shouldn't charge too much.
